Jan Jacobsen, from East Friestland, came to New Netherland, with wife and two children, in "de Rooseboom," which sailed March 15, 1663.
Mrs. Jan Jacobsen (see above), coming, in l663, to New Amsterdam, from East Friesland, in company with her husband was probably a German.
