Thomas Fredericksen, from Oldenburg. Holstein, was in New Amsterdam as early as 1650. He was a cooper, and was known as Thomas Fredericksen de Kuyper. On July H, 1651, he signed a document as witness in a transaction, the particulars of which need not be stated here.
His wife was Marretie Claes Adriaens, by whom he had children: Adrian, baptized September 18, 1650; Trynlie, baptized February 23, 1653; Francyntie, April 4, 1655; Tryntie, January 16, 1658; Cornelia January 15, 1659; Tryntie, September 33, 1662; Thomas, February 4, 1672.
