ILGIS, Paul. A cooper of the Meisenbacher Hof. Married (1) Anna Margaretha. Married (2) at Thaleischweiler, 23.11.1745, Maria Catharina Blau, daughter of a digger. Have left for Pennsylvania 1750. Issue of Ist marriage: (1) Anna Elisabetha, b. 29.VI.1731; (2) Maria Ottilia, b. 30. VII. 1736; (3) Anna Catharina, b. at the Meisenbacher Hof, 4.VIII.1741. Issue of 2nd marriage (b. at the Meisenbacher Hof) : (4) Johann Georg, b. 23.XI.1745; (5) Maria Barbara, b. 27.X.1747. Johann Paul Ilgis, who was born at the Meisenbacher Hof, 19.VII.1749, was the illegitimate son of Christina Margaretha, daughter of the above-named Paul Ilgis, by Hanss Adam Seidler, (q.v.) miller (son of Johannes Seidler, of Herschberg, Palatinate.
