KÄSTNER, Christian. Weaver. Born 3.II.1725. Son of the carpenter and woodcutter Christian Kästner, of Neufröschen (Höhfröschen) (but Dr. Krebs says the carpenter Christian Kästner came from Lauf, near Nürnberg) by his wife, Utilia (Ottilia). Married at Thaleischweiler, 3.XIL 1748, Susanna, daughter of Georg and Ursula Mattinger, of Neufröschen. Have left for Pennsylvania 1750. Issue: Maria Barbara, b. at Fröschen, 4.XI.1749; has heen taken to Pennsylvania by her parents 1750. Link |
