Emigrants from the Palatine to the American Colonies in the 18th Century; compiled by Dr. Friedrich Krebs; Edited by Milton Rubincam; Pennsylvania German Society, Norristown, Pennsylvania; 1953 --------------------------------------- ALSPACH, Johannes (born at Oberfröschen, 12.11.1748), Johann David (born at Oberfröschen, 22.IX.1735), and George Heinrich (born at Oberfröschen, 24.111.1746). Sons of Johannes and Anna Ottilia Alspach. Notations in church register for Johannes and George Heinrich: Has left for Pennsylvania 1763, and for Johann David: Has left for Pennsylvania. David Alspach was living in Windsor Township, Berks Co., Pa., 5 April 1762, when he took the sacrament (PHSL XXIV, 79). Letters of administration on his estate were granted to his widow, Dorothea Alsbach, 9 March 1768 (GSP Berks, I, 129). Henrich Alsbach arrived on the ship Chance, 1 Nov. 1763 (S-H I, 686) ; he was living in Cumru Twp., Berks Co., 16 Sept. 1761, when he took the sacrament (PHSL XXIV, 74). Henry Alspach was living in Windsor Twp. in 1790 (First Census, p. 44).
