Of Essenheim. Married 18.VII.1730, Elisabetha, daughter of Johann Jacob Geibel, of Gambach, Hessen (Wetterau). Issue (born at Essenheim): (1) Anna Margaretha, bap. 26.III.1731; (2) Anna Elisabetha, b. 27.V.1735; (3) Maria Elisabetha, b. 2.1.1741. To America, 1741, with wife and 3 children. Jorg Darahn arrived on the ship St. Mark, 26 Sept. 1741 (S-H I, 296, 298, 299). Dr. Gerberich suggests that this family settled in York and Northampton Cos., Pa.
