Married at Essenheim, 19.IX.1728, Maria Elisabetha, daughter of Joh. Jacob Schmitt. Issue (born at Essenheim) : (1) Johann Adam, bap. 24.IX.1730; (2) Maria Elisabeth b. 23.IX.1733; (3) Johann Michel, b. 11.XI.1736; (4) Johannes, b. 28.V.1739; ( 5) Anna Maria, b. 8.III.1741. To America with his wife andfive children, Ma1742. Johannes Fihell, Sr., arrived on the ship Loyal Judith, 3.Sept. 1742 (S-H I, 324, 325, 326). John, Adam, and Michael Fissell (Fischel, Fishel) were mentioned frequently in York Co. tax lists (see he Index to PA for references). John Fishell, of York Co., made his? 6.Feb. 177(proved 10 March 1786). He named his wife, Anna Maria and children, Adam, Michael, Rosina (wife of George Geyer) , John, Anna (wife of Andrew Bosheck), and Margaret (wife of Hey Lenine) (GSP York, 142).
