OHLINGER, Johann Georg. Weaver. Son of Hanss Georg Ohlinger. Married at Thaleischweiler, 4.IV.1741, Maria Barbara (whom he had impregnated), daughter of Hanss Georg and Anna Magdalena Dauenhauer, from Fröschen. Have left for Pennsylvania at once. Hans Jorg Oilinger arrived on the ship Friendship, 12 Oct. 1741 (S-H I, 307, 309, 310). Geo. Oilinger, of Richmond Twp., Berks Co., took the sacrament, 15 Oct. 1765 (PHSL XXIV, 127). The tax records give the names of George Ohlinger in Rockland Twp., Berks Co., 1780 (PA-3, XVIII, 405), George Olinger in Lebanon Twp., Lancaster Co., 1779 (PA-3, XVII, 552), George Olinger in Ruscomb Twp., Berks Co., 1779-80 (PA-3, XVIII, 263, 407), and George Olinger in Greenwich Twp., Berks Co., 1781, 1784, 1785 (PA-3, XVIII, 487, 617, 746). George Ohlinger, of Ruscomb Manor, made his will, 10 Nov. 1798 (proved 4 Sept. 1800); he named his sons John, Frederick, Jacob, and George, and his daughters Maria, Madlany, and Catharina; his wife was mentioned but not named (GSP Berks, II, 46).
